Department of Assets Dinner in
TheCompany department of assets organized a dinner
ceremony at Al Ain Rotana Hotel attended by a large
number of staff, headed by HE Abdulla Saif Al Nuaimi,
director of Abu DhabiWater and Electricity Authority,
His Excellency Mohammed Bin Omair Al Shamsi
Managing Director of Al Ain Distribution Company,
Mr. Salem Mohammed Bin Rakkad Al Amiri, a member
of the Federal Board and a number of departments
managers of the company
HE Mohammed Bin Omair Al Shamsi,
Managing Director of Al Ain Distribution
Company, declared that this event
was carried out in confirmation of
the company’s ongoing efforts to
disseminate health awareness among
its staff. He added that the organization
of awareness programs and health
education provides staff with the
necessary information on how to keep
up their health and provided them with
sound health practices as well.
In this program, Al Noor Hospital
presented several free medical checkups
for employees starting from checking
of diabetes rate at the body where
diabetes measure devices have been
distributed to measure sugar rate in
blood freely. Then a prevention test was
performed for all citizens and children of
female citizens in the country approved
by the competent authorities regarding
the prevalent diseases especially genetic
The ceremony aims to motivate the staff and encourage
them to excel in work. Eng. Salem Al Afari Director of Water
department, Eng. Mesbah Al Din Ahmed, Eng. Khalid Yousef,
Eng. Rania Oraikat, Eng. Alaa Abdullah, Eng. Moaaz Al-Amin,
Eng.Mohamed Khalil, Ms. Sarah Al Zaheri, and Mr. Mohammed
Rafi, were honored in the celebration. the directors of the
department sections were also thanked for their outstanding
work and continuous cooperation, hoping for them further
progress and excellence in the work field.

Organized a program of
health education for staff
in the headquarter of the
company over the past two
days in which it hosted
several hospitals including
Al Ain Koromoal Hospital
for women and children, Al
Nour Hospital, Kozomserge
Hospital and Emirates one-
day surgery hospital in order
to educate staff healthily
and teach them healthy
habits.
Al Ain Distribution organizes a
program of health education
ones ( heart, obesity, bone, sugar, and
the pressure) in addition to
Height, weight and pressure checking.
They also distributed publications and
brochures to give the staff instructions
and tips on public health and healthy
and balanced eating .
The nutritionist Dr. Mzaher Abbas
Mahmoud of Koromoal Hospital for
women and children presented a daily
diet appropriate for staff through which
the meals will be organized during
the day in a proper way to help them
maintain permanent fitness, in addition,
they replied to their inquiries related
to calories in the meals they eat and
whether these habits are healthy. The
dentist Rana Jaber replied to queries
of the staff about their dietary habits
and their impact on the health of
their teeth. Kozomserg hospital
and Emirates one-day surgery hospital ,
presented an explanation regarding the
most important cosmetic operations
conducted by the hospital for patients
and for medical reasons which require a
cosmetic surgery such as transforming
the stream of the stomach and
stomach-shrinking surgery for obesity
patients along with the positive results
of them. Advices and guidance were
also provided regarding skin treatment
and protecting it against vulnerabilities
in summer, by offering the appropriate
creams to protect the skin against sun
and taking care of it.
The company is keen on organizing such
events to its employees on a regular
basis throughout the year in order to
provide themwith the necessary skills to
enable them to make correct decisions
and choices by changing the wrong
behaviors and health habits in order to
contribute to solve health problems and
raise the degree of health awareness
among the members of society.
