Al Ain Distribution conducts a
new fire-extinguishing gas system
friendly to the environment

visit the “Al Ain Distribution”

Majid in the Middle East region, the
managers and heads of departments
of the company, and a number of
engineers of health, safety and security
department attended the presentation.
HE Mohammed Bin Omair Al Shamsi,
Managing Director of Al Ain Distribution
Company said that the use of this new
system in extinguishing fires reflects
the extent of Al Ain Distribution interest
in the environment, and that it always
adopts environmental initiatives and
support them.
He added that the care about and
conservation of the environment are
a common societal responsibility not
limited to a certain category.

presented an illustrative presentation
The department of health, safety
and environment conducted tests
at Al Ain Distribution Company
on new gas system friendly to the
environment, at the building of the
power station (Power House) in
collaboration with Juma Al Majid
Company which produced the new
system. This presentation coincides
with the National Environment Day
celebrations.
AADC hosted a delegation fromMajan Electricity Company of the
Sultanate of Oman headed by Mr. Sultan of Mahrouqi of the call
center, and greeted by Mr. Ali Al Zaheri, Director of the call center
department, Mr. Abdullah Al Sheriany director of sales support
and a number of the company department directors.
The delegation was briefed on the
mechanism of action in the customer
service department of the company,
and knew the latest systems and
services provided in the management
of the company business system and
its projects with the aim to exchange
experiences and increase the bonds of
interdependence.
The delegation toured the call center at
the building of the power plant so as
to see the mechanism of receiving the
calls and the stages they passes though
since receiving them up to the closure
stage. Then they toured the customer
service departments, (the main counter,
training room, and the division of debts)
in the headquarter of the company,
through which they are briefed of the
services provided by Al Ain distribution
to its customers such as the payment
service relating to the payment of
water and electricity bills, payment
methods approved in the company and
Consultation Service which provide
general water , electricity and proper
standards of consumption consulting
services, along with other services that
contribute to customer satisfaction.

Company confirmed the need to
strengthen cooperation between water
and electricity companies of the Gulf
Cooperation Council countries, and
exchanging
experiences
and
expertise between them, calling to
promote mutual visits with the aim to
open ways of mutual work, information
exchange and dissemination of
knowledge in this field.
At the end of the visit, Mr. Sultan
Mahrouqi, the head of the Omani
delegation praised the level of services
provided byAlAinDistributionCompany,
and the advanced systems in place,
hoping to repeat visits and cooperate
with the company continuously to
exchange practical experiences in
order to provide the best services to
customers and business development.

how to use it in the fire extinguishing.
They said that it is not harmful to
human health, as it conforms to the
standards and conditions of the global
environment systems and approved by
the civil defense of the country.
Consequently,
the
technicians
conducted a practical fire-fighting
process in which they explained the
method of fire extinguishing and fire
products using the new gas system.
