Outlook
The piece of information gains its importance from the
role it plays in providing the individual with the knowledge
he needs for his estimation and perceptions of what he
intends to do. It identifies the actions and behaviors and
affect the way of life of its recipient as well as the activities
and living habits.
Thus, the Regulation & Supervision Bureau in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Water and
Electricity Authority and distribution companies issued the bill in its new form, the
matter which is a true reflection of the information importance and their essential role in
influencing the individual behaviors and determining consumer behaviors and his daily
life habits.
The new bill provides the customers with clear information in a simple way about the
details of their consumption and determines their consumption patterns to which they
belong, to assist them in making consuming decisions that will achieve consumer optimal
use of water and electricity services.
As for “How to invest in the information”, we would like to refer that the knowledge
always means better planning. Through getting more information, customers can make
conscious consumption decisions , as the invoice in its new form is a tool to
encourage us to change our consumption habits of the water and electricity on the long
term, since the bill contains important and necessary information that should be invested
properly.
Consumption rationalization of water and electricity resources means to reduce the need
to spend on building more costly energy production stations. Rationalization in the water
and electricity sector is one of the country’s future pillars of the state, thus, making
Conscious consuming decisions means less challenges facing our future generations.
