The Company’s manager, Muhammad Salim Bin Omayer Al Shamsi said
that the Company keenness to participate in WETEX reflects the extent
of Company’s interest in the environment and the preservation of its
resources that are considered a basic part of the components of Al Ain
Distribution Company’s general strategy that aims at reducing the carbonic
emissions and environment preservation based on the latest technical
solutions to provide the best possible services to the subscribers and
achieve the Company’s message that provides for the distribution of water
and electricity effectively, safely, environmentally
friendly and against appropriate costs.
Al Shamsi added that the Company
always adopts and seeks to implement the
environmental initiatives and seeks also to raise
the rate of the environmental awareness among
its employees and customers by means of
taking part in the exhibitions and conferences
that handle the environmental affairs, organizing
the campaigns of rationalization continuously
throughout the year and ongoing participation
in the international environmental days that are
organized by the Company every year, such as
World Water Day and Earth Hour.
The green invoice is considered one of the
latest environmental initiatives adopted by Al
Ain Distribution Company. Such invoices shall
largely contribute in reducing the carbonic
emissions and preserving the environment and
its natural resources as the Company has urged
the subscribers to take decision supporting
the efforts of environment preservation by the
transformation from the traditional paper invoice
to the electronic version named «the green
invoice» which means providing 164000 papers
monthly used currently by Al Ain Distribution
Company in printing the services invoices to the
consumers.
Al Ain Distribution Company has also accomplished the project of papers and plastic recycling in collaboration with
Environment Friends Society and distributed the related containers to the Company’s building and branches. This project
is considered the result of the agreement concluded by and between Al Ain Distribution Company and with Environment
Friends Society to limit the consumption of material and energy and reduce the gas emission causing the global warming.

Al Ain Distribution Company participates inWetex Exhibition
Al Ain Distribution Company has participated in the
sixteenth session of the water, energy, Environment
Technology Exhibition 2014 in the last April in Dhabi
International Exhibition and Convention Center within the
wing of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority with
the aim of shedding the lights on the latest solutions of
energy to cover the needs of the UAE in particular and
Gulf Countries in general from the renewable energy.
H.E: Sheikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoom has visited
the Al Ain distribution Company’s podium and listened
to an explanation made by the Company’s manager,
Muhammad Salim Bin Omayer Al Shamsi about the
Company’s works of distributing water and electricity in
Al Ain City and its suburbs, as well as the Company’s
strategic plan to develop the works and customer service
in addition to the Company’s interest in rationalizing the
power consumption.
H.E: Sheikh Ahmad Bin Saeed has listened also to an
explanation about «consultancies service» that show
the subscribers about the free services submitted by
the Company to provide the guarantees of the required
security and safety in the electricity andwater connections
in houses and public facilities with the aim of preserving
the personal safety, activating the efforts of consumption
rationalization and making the public aware of the risks of
random connections and loads increment.
Sheikh Ahmad has also reviewed the cultural corner of
rationalization, which the Company uses to make the
community members aware of the issues of rationalization
and the optimum use of energy.
