Al Ain Distribution Company has participated in Think Science Exhibition 2014 held
in the last April in Dubai International Exhibitions and Conventions Center within
the wing of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority. The said Exhibition was
sponsored by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign
Affairs, Chairman of UAE Youth Development Establishment. More than 550
participants (university and secondary school students) have participated in
the Exhibition. The Exhibition was organized to show the youth academic
and technological projects and innovations in the country and Middle
East.
The General Manager of Al Ain Distribution Company, Muhammad Salim
Bin Omayer Al Shamsi has stated that the Company is keen on participating
in the Exhibition to convene with our students, identify the exhibited projects
and innovations and exploit the chance to deliver our awareness messages
of rationalizing the water and electricity consumption. Bin Omayer has
added that the Company’s participation in the Exhibition aims at making
the community aware of the importance of conserving water and electricity
and its optimum use as well as changing the improper daily habits.
Al Shamsi has confirmed that the Company seeks
to implant the concepto of rationalization in the
student since childhood, correct the improper
behaviors
concerning the usage of energy and make
the student aware of the importance of
rationalization and preserving water and
electricity as they are considered within the
most important vital issues in the country
that affect the development of society and
environment conservation
