The Department

Health,
Safety
and
Environment of
Al Ain Distribution
Company
has
organized training
courses
for
the
employees
of
drainage
concerning the
equipment
of
public
safety
and the methods
of
accidents
management.
About
30
employees
in
Al Ain City have
benefited
from
such courses which aimed at
training the employees on the rules
of safety equipment management
during
the
accidents.
Mr. Muhammad Bin Omayer Al
Shamsi, General Manager of Al
Ain Distribution Company has
stated saying « Al Ain Distribution

cooperation with the governmental
and private departments and
institutions, as theCompany spares
no effort to help and assist the
governmental and private bodies in
the country with the aim of serving

well as the its constant concern to
exchange experience at the same

Lecturer: Eng. Samed Dorra of the
Department of Health, Safety and
Environment of Al Ain Distribution
Company
has
trained
the
employees on the most important
procedures required to ensure
the proper and safe usage of the
equipment of safety and security.
Eng. Sameh has concentrated
on the method of protection from
risks and accident management
by making the employees aware
of the basic skills of first aid and
quick intervention to provide the
safe environment that ensure the
safety and psychological stability
for the employees, who
became
acquainted
with the dangerous
substances that cause
fire, as well as the
methods of its control
and avoidance.
The
lecturer
has
referred to the efforts
exerted by Al Ain
Distribution Company
to spread the culture of
safety, health, security
and
environment
constantly over the
year in cooperation with
various governmental
and private bodies by
means of the training
courses and lectures given by the
Company to various governmental
and private bodies.
The latest numbers contained in
the periodic performance reports
developed by the competent
departments in the company
indicated that that there are about
210850 subscribers in electricity
service and 209952 in water
services during the first quarter in
2014 (from Jan till March 2014)
While with regard to the requests
of the site clearance of electricity
extensions it has reached 1065
requests, while the requests
confirming the site clearance

reached 1051 request.

With regard to the quantity of water and
electricity consumption, the electricity
consumption has reached during the first
months about 1 billion and 358 million
kilowatts, while the water consumption

thousand cubic meters.
That Company has approved about 453
new electricity plans during the last
months.
