The awareness of the importance of preserving the environment and the rational use of its resources and directing to the
sustained energy is the core of our business in Al Ain Distribution Company as we began to adopt modern and innovative
solutions and approaches for the power saving consumer products and the environmentally products. This comes as a part
of the Company›s interest to raise the level of environmental awareness in our societies and encourage on taking practical
procedures to protect the environment.
In the framework of our continuous interest to establish more of environmental awareness in the working environment societies
andmotivate the employees to adopt sustained living patters, Al Ain Distribution Company has participated in several initiatives
that aim at improving its social liability toward the environment by means of the effective participation of its employees in
improving the environment where they live during the period of executing the works assigned thereto by developing the feeling
of liability of causing positive difference in their societies then they will become models for other urging them to follow their
example by adopting the principal of adherence to their liabilities toward their environment.
Among these initiatives:
Sorting and recycling of paper
wastes
Project of sorting and recycling
the paper wastes with the aim
of encouraging the Company›s
employees not to dispose of their
wastes that can be recycled safely
for the benefit of the environment.
Containers of recycling were used
in the different departments of the
companies to make the working
environment more clean and
sustainable for living.
Green invoice
The initiative of applying the
electronic paperless invoices
«green invoice», which is an
electronic copy of the traditional
paper invoice delivered by
the customers via their e-mail
accounts aim at conserving the
natural resources and for the
satisfaction of the customers,
as the Company encourages its
employees to benefit from the
electronic services submitted to
them and know the method of its
usage.
Earth Hour Events
Al Ain Distribution Company
contribution in such initiative
coincided with the global
initiative of «Earth Hour» that
aims at spreading the culture of
environmental awareness and
protecting the planet from the
climate changes. Earth Hour
is considered one of the most
important annual initiatives that
Al Ain Distribution participates
in which for the community
awareness and draw its attention
to the issues of environment and
energy.
Events of land cleaning
Our participation in such
campaigns was to make
the community aware of the
importance of conserving the land
areas due to the negative impacts
resulting from throwing wastes in
places other than the allocated
ones by means of raising the
awareness of pollution risks
