The Department of security, health, safety, environment and quality of Al Ain Distribution Company has organized several
training courses during the first quarter of the current year with the aim of improving the level of employees› performance
and professional safety status to reach the quality criteria in the general professional safety. A big number of the Company’s
employees of all departments benefited from such courses.
The Department of security, health, safety, environment and quality constantly organizes such programs and courses of
awareness through the year in different fields with the aim of creating safe and friendly environment according to the criteria
that are in a line with the Company’s plans and strategy that aims at conserving the environment.
Department of Security, Health, Safety, Environment and quality organizes training course in three
different languages in the field of public safety
The Department has organized several training courses about the public security in there different languages (Arabic
– English – Urdu) for all the Company’s employees to make them aware of the rules of safety and public security as
well as electricity risks for their safety. Huge number of the employees of different departments have benefited from
such training course.
Workshop – safety procedures of working in
the enclosed and confined areas
The employees were trained to the proper and safe
procedures of working in the enclosed and confined
areas to preserve the human lives. The individuals
working in such area are obligated to indentify the
risks located in such places as well as the method of
its handling
Workshop – using breathing
apparatus and gas detection
devices
The employees were trained to
the method of using the breathing
apparatus and gas detection device
in emergencies, including working in
heat, smoke and darkness to conduct
the process of rescue and detection
in the enclosed areas.
Workshop – using locks and
cautionary signs
The employees were trained to the
method of using locks and cautionary
signs in places of work to ensue
providing complete protection for
individuals and facilities.
Training course – overhead
lines maintenance without
disconnecting the power cord
The Company›s engineers and
technicians were trained to the method
of conducting maintenance over the
overhead lines without disconnecting
the power cord. Such maintenance
was conducted in cooperation with the
Canadian Company of EITI specialized
in overhead lines maintenance without
disconnecting the power cord.

The Department has organized a
training program for a group of its
employees concerning the risks of
falling from heights. The program
has concentrated on the practical
approaches and procedures that the
employee shall take while dealing with
such risks for their safety.
The program aims at helping the
individuals working in the high places
to avoid injuries, protect themselves
from falling and falling of objects and

The Department of Quality has organized several
training course about the Integrated Management
System (IMA) according to (ISO) rules. A group of
employees of different departments and section
benefited fromsuch training courses. The remaining
courses shall be resumed during the coming
months with the aimof improving the level of quality,
customer service and customers by measuring
performance indicators and comparing the same to
the achieved results.
