Inspection tour to spread the
culture of the awareness of
security, health, safety and
environment
Mr. Muhammad Bin Omayer Al Shamsi, General Manager of Al
Ain Distribution Company has conducted inspection tour in the
company of group of managers and heads of department. This tour has
included several facilities and branches of the Company according to the annual plan adopted by the Company to spread
the culture of the awareness of security, health, safety and environment.
The tour has included the following facilities: the buildings of communication and control, projects, testing and protection,
commissioning, maintenance and electricity, commissioning, maintenance and water, office of transport and street lighting,
customer services building power distribution station and water pump.
This tour has come as a part of the higher management implementation of the concepts of health, safety and environment
in the annual development plans with regard to efficiency raising in the professional environment.
The visit started with a meeting held in the building of communication and control (DMS), then they directed to the other
buildings and stations owned by the company. They started with the building of communication and control (DMS), in which
they inspected the work progress in the sections to defined the points of strength and weakness located in the places of
services by studying the needs and supporting the procedures that may be taken to improve the services provided to the
public and to provide the most important needs and requirements that serve the work.
This visit comes as a part of the schedule of annual program developed by the management of Al Ain Distribution Company
to spread the culture of the awareness of security, health, safety and health and, follow the development works executed
in the facilities located in the external areal, define the extent of the higher management compliance with the concepts of
security, health, safety and environment and determine any new risks that may arise. The positives spreading the awareness
of the culture of security, health, safety and environment have been explained.
H.E: Muhammad Bon Omayer Al Sjanis has urged the employees to do their best to develop the administrative and field
performance by raising the professional efficiency in the working environment along with conforming the necessity to
comply with the concepts of security, health, safety and environment and the importance of spreading the awareness of
the culture security, health, safety and environment during and after the working hours. Mr. Al Shamis has stressed also
the Company›s sponsorship to the new initiatives of development related to security, health, safety and environment which
assist in successfully achieving the strategic objectives of the Company.

secondary school
Al Ain Distribution Company has submitted a
presentation about the Company to the students of
the technical secondary school concerning the most
important technical and administrative specialties
which students may join, as the student shall be
qualified early and connected to the job marker
as of the secondary stage. The students were told
that the programs the targeted students will study
in the electronic and electric specialties have been
developed in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Vocational
Education and Training institute. Such study programs
shall suit the Company›s requirements and needs as
the student shall gain academic experiences and
practical specialized training.
After the presentation, the door was opened to
respond to queries made by students, which relate to
professions and administrative and technical jobs and
equivalent academic certificates, as the eruptional
grades showed in Al Ain Distribution Company and
the equivalent academic qualifications and certificates
that enable the student employee to gradate in the
administrative jobs related to the technical jobs.
H.E: General Manager of Al Ain Distribution Company,
Muhammad Bin Omayer Al Shamsi has illustrated
the importance of such presentations that assist in
preparing and qualifying the students in early stages
to know their academic and occupational track.
Theses presentations will allow each student to know
his academic and occupational track which shall
refine and enhance their skills to suit the needs of the
job market.
Bin Omayer has stressed on the management
keenness to familiarize and direct the students to
the most important technical and administrative
specialties that meet the actual needs of the job
market.
A cooperation agreement was signed by and between
Al Ain Distribution Company and Abu Dhabi Vocational
Education and Training Institute; such agreement
stipulates that the Company shall sponsor 40 UAE
students within an integrated program for continuing
education.
