organizes the forum of the best practices in
the field of health, safety, environment and
quality 2014
Al Ain Distribution Company has organized the first forum of the best practices in the field of
health, safety, environment and quality 2014 held yesterday morning in Rotana Al Ain Hotel.
Several governmental and private departments have participated in this forum, including the
Department of Foreign Affairs and Residence, Abu Dhabi Distribution Company, Alstom Power
Company and Larson and Terbo L&T Company.
Mr. Muhammad Bin Omayer Al Shamsi, General Manager of Al Ain Distribution Company has stated
saying «the object of organizing such forum was to shed the lights on the best practices in the field
of health, safety and environment and to generalize the benefits by exchanging experiences and
adopting the best models with the aimof improving the level of general practices in the field of health,
safety and environment».
The Company has submitted, during the forum, two work papers, the first one entitled «community
awareness «mankind and environment» that has been presented by Eng. Sameh Dorra, while the
second one was entitled «the pest practices and applications HSE in Al Ain Distribution Company
that has been presented by Eng. Muhammad Abu Saleh, department of health, safety, environment
and quality of the Company.
The title of the first paper was selected to explain what
several people ignore about themost important challenge
that Al Ain Distribution Company encounters which is
how to make safety and end environment preservation
full liability to be assumed by each employee like its
liability while performing the works assigned thereto
perfectly, and how to transfer such challenge to Al Ain
City community with the aim of changing the culture of
health, environment and quality.
The second paper has included the tasks assigned
to the department of health, safety and environment
in the Company as well as the tasks executed by the
department team work to spread the culture of health,
safety, environment and quality.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Residence – Al
Ain has submitted a paper entitled «the best practices in
the field of applying quality management system /2008
2009 as management system to develop the efficiency
and effectiveness of the administrative operations
thereof. Alstom Power Company has presented a paper
entitled «motivational leadership» and how to encourage
the workers to abide by the criteria of security and safety.
Such paper was by Eng. Muhammad Hussein. Abu
Dhabi Distribution Company has also presented a paper
entitled «the best practices in the field of low voltage.
Larson and Terbo L&T has also submitted a paper
entitled «the best practices in the field of contracting».
