In cooperation with Masdar Institute, Al Ain Distribution Company has organized workshop about the chances of
studying in Masdar Institute, system of registration and admission and answers to the inquiries made by the employees
interested in resuming their post graduate studies. The said workshop comes as a part of the Company’s concern
to improve the performance of the employees thereof whom the Company supports to resume their post graduate
studies, in particular in the field of power to achieve Abu Dhabi vision 2030.

Al Ain obtains membership in the European
Foundation for Quality Management
Al Ain Distribution Engineers have identified to the chances and scholarships granted by the Masdar Institute of
Science and Technology to obtain the Master and Doctorate degree in different engineering and technical fields. The
workshop has included also a presentation about Masdar Institute, the object of its construction, components and the
modern residential facilities allocated to students and researchers. Dr. Rashed Kamel Abu El Rab, associate professor
in the mechanical engineering in Masdar Institute has illustrated the chances of studying in the fields of systems
engineering and management, sciences of computing and information, materials engineering, electric and mechanical
powers engineering, water, environment and Microsystems, chemical engineering and program of doctorate of different
specialties.
Reem Al Orfa Lee, Manager of Registration Department of Masdar Institute has stated saying «the Institute construction
in 2009 comes as a part of Abu Dhabi Government Strategy that aims at training and qualifying the national cadres and
raising their efficiency to take part in building their home».
Lee added that «the Institute is considered one of the outstanding and unique educational institutions in the Middle
East and the whole world. The institute is specialized in granting the master and doctorate degrees only in the relevant
fields. Reem has submitted detailed explanation about the requirements of registration in the Institute, including first
and foremost getting cumulative grade of not less than 3,0 out of 4,0 in bachelor degree as for master›s students and
3,2 out of 4,0 as for the doctoral student etc.
