Al Ain Distribution Company has
hosted a group of students of the
secondary technical schools for two
weeks in January to make them
aware of the nature of work progress
in the Company’s sections and
departments. This comes as a part of
the agreement previously concluded
with Abu Dhabi Institute for
Professional Teaching and Training,
under which umbrella a big sector
of the technical and professional
learning of different stages in the UAE
falls.
The visit aimed at exchanging
the scientific experience with the
academic institutions, as the light was
shed on the method of work progress
in the Company›s departments and
how to take the required precautions
for security, safety and protection
from electricity risks. In addition,
stimulating and motivating the
students to education and coping
with the development that the
devices and equipment witnesses,
as well as providing the students with
new scientific experience in the field
of safety, security and protection from
electricity risks.

saying «We seek in our Company
to encourage students and benefit
from the experienced engineers and
technicians brought by the Company
to improve the efficiency of national
cadres of youth and assist them to
make progress in their specialties that
serve their home».
Mr. Bin Omayer has highlighted the
importance of such field visits that
support the students› qualification
and preparation in early stage to
know their scientific and professional
path. Such visits allow each student
to know his tendencies, thus it refines
and supports his skills for the job
market. Al Shamsi has confirmed
the management attention to guide
students to the most important
technical
and
administrative
specialties that meet the actual needs
of the job market.
The visit has included the
students› identification to the
Company’s departments and
management and technical
devices. The students
have exchanged the most
important devices and
instructions that help and
support them in their study
with the engineers during
such visit, as the engineers
have shown the latest tools
and techniques applicable in
Al Aid Distribution Company
to protect the networks of
electric power.
The students shave conducted a
tour during which they identified the
basic components of the systems of
protection form electricity as well as
the importance of such systems that
lies in reducing the damage caused
the equipment due to the increment
of voltages or heat that may be
occurred during the occurrence of the
damage and to prevent or reduce the
damage that may be caused to the
individuals near to or working on the
equipment.
The technical school students have
attended a course about the public
safety in the department of health,
safety and environment that belongs
to the Company. The coursed has
included explaining the concept
of health and professional safety
and the requirements affecting the
employee›s health and safety. The
students have learned the method
of handling problems, managing
mechanical, engineering, physical
and fire risks and dealing with work
injuries.

Openingnewcenter for customer service in El SenayaaArea
The General Manger of Al Ain Distribution Company, MR. Muhammad Salem Bin Omyer Al Shamsi, has opened new
center for customer services in the building of Commercial Valley Center in El Senayaa Area. This step comes as a part of
the Company›s continuous efforts to make it possible to provide the customers with the services and means of comfort
to enable them to access to all the information and services related to bills payment, in addition to the other transactions
related to the services of water and electricity. The customer services staff receives the subscribers from Sunday till
Thursday from 7:30 am till 3:00 pm.
Al Shamsi has stated that the new center aims at developing
the performance and improving the services submitted to the
customers through the specialized and integrated sub-centers.
Al Shamsi has also pointed out that the Company is constantly
adherent to the development of customer service plan, and that it
seeks to provide its customers with the modern services to save
their time and effort and provide them with the best services.
Al Shamsi added that the new and branch office development
plan come as a part of the efforts exerted by the Company to
provide the advanced means and tools to make it easy for the
customers to pay the invoices. Al Shamsi has stated also that
the improvement of the services submitted to the customers is
considered one of the priorities in Al Ain Distribution Company
that we shall attempt through which to develope and update such
services for the quite satisfaction of the Company›s customers. Such development shall go on and shall be submitted to
our customers constantly through our branches spread in Al Ain City.
The opening of the new customer services is considered as a step to resume the execution of the development
comprehensive strategy prepared by Al Ain Distribution Company, which strategy aims at providing effective centers that
enable the customers to easily obtain the services provided by the Company. The most important services the new center
shall provide are as follows: bills payment, data amendment, account statements and bills printing, clearance issue,
insurance amount recovery and other transactions that are relevant to the services of water and electricity.
