qualifying and training students,
The UAE University honors
Al Ain Distribution Company
AADC organized an informative
lecture on the operation of electricity
system in Al Ain networks, for
the students of UAEU college of
Engineering. The lecture aimed at
developing the students’ practical
skills by linking theoretical study to
practical experience and providing
themwith AADC engineers’ practical
experience.

AADC energy networks planning
engineer, gave an overview of the
company’s work in distributing water
and electricity, and maintaining,
operating and developing distribution
networks through which water and
electricity services are supplied to
customers within the geographic
scope determined for the company,
including Al Ain city and its suburbs.
The students were informed about
the latest methods and technologies
adopted by AADC in protecting
electrical networks “distribution
networks”
from
malfunctions
through insulation of the faulted
sections in the electrical network, in
addition to components of low- and
medium-voltage electrical power
cables and its types.
They were also informed about
the basic constituents of systems
of electrical prevention that lie in
reducing damages that may occur
to equipments due to high voltage
or high temperature resulting from
a malfunction, and in preventing
the occurrence of or reducing the
damage that may befall nearby
persons or employees operating the
equipments.
The UAEU has honored AADC for its
persistent efforts and cooperation
in qualifying and training students,
in Al-Hilali Building stage (B2001),
in the presence of a number of
agencies and private and public
government institutions.
On the other hand, AADC
commended communication and
coordination between it and the
UAEU, the relation through which all
parties work for a single objective,
namely the elevation of UAEU
students to the required level of
expertise.
AADC is also keen to constantly
communicate with public and
private educational agencies and
institutions,
which
constitutes
realizationof its strategy inpromoting
communication between it and
other public and private agencies
and circles. It also promotes and
entrenches its role in increasing
awareness in the community about
rationalization culture and the
means of resources preservation.
Indeed, excellence is a collective
effort which attains only through
offering more than that which is
need, and this is the credo of AADC.
AADC exerts efforts in providing its
programs for the fulfillment of its
vision, mission and objectives, in
cooperation with partners, including
various institutions, agencies, and
societal activities, so that genuine
partnership be its approach and
success be its ultimate objective.
