AADC inaugurated its first round of
‘AADC Excellence’ award with the
purpose of upgrading and raising the
company performance efficiency,
increasing productivity, improving
services, keeping the customers
at the focal point, enhancing work
environment, and spreading excellence
and quality culture. The award
launching occurs within the framework
of the directives given by H.H. General
Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu
Dhabi Crown Prince, Armed Forces
DeputySupremeCommander, andAbu
Dhabi Executive Council Chairman, to
launch excellence awards in agencies
subordinate to Abu Dhabi government.
The categories included in Al Ain Award
are Excellent Administration, and
Excellent Projects or Excellent Work
teams and individuals, as the award
criteria are designed on the grounds
of Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in
Government Performance, which in
turn adopts international principles and
optimumpracticestopromoteexcellence
culture in government agencies.

Salem Bin Omair Al Shamsi stated that the
launching of AADC Excellence Award comes
in compliance with the directives of H.E.
General Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan,
Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Armed Forces
Excellence Forum
On the occasion of launching AADC
Excellence Award in Al Ain Rotana
Hotel, AADC Planning and Business
Support Section organized the
ExcellenceForum,whichwasattended
by AADC General Manager Mohamed
Bin Omair Al Shamsi and departments
and sections managers and heads.
The forum involved an introductory
lecture to employees on the award
criteria besides signing the document
of commitment to excellence, being
personally signed by most of the
company staff.

Dhabi Executive Council Chairman, to launch
excellence awards programs in agencies
subordinate to Abu Dhabi government in
parallel to theADAEGP, andout of contribution
to the fulfillment of its objectives.
Bin Omair added that through its Excellence
Award, AADC seeks to encourage its
employees and achieve a number of
objectives, involving finding a mechanism
to facilitate implementation of Abu Dhabi
government’s vision, support materialization
of AADC strategy, and contribute to
circulation of awareness about excellence,
quality and transparency culture in the
company through disseminating the
spirit of positive competitiveness among
departments and sections.
