honoring AADC Finance Staff
An awareness-
raising workshop for
pension and
retirement law
AADC staff attended an awareness-
raising workshop organized by
Retirement Pensions andBenefits Fund,
in the company’sMain Building, with the
purpose of informing staff about their
rights and duties as well as the rights
and duties of insured employees, and
about local laws and legislations.
The staff listened received an
introductorypresentation that involved
a briefing on Abu Dhabi Retirement
PensionsandBenefitsFund(ADRPBF)
and the major services it provides.
The presentation also focused on the
way of registering insured persons,
their monthly contributions, and their
pension rights, including conditions
for entitlement to retirement pension
and the way of calculating it, besides
the rights of pensioner’s heirs eligible
for entitlement to shares in pension. It
also focused on illustrating the terms
related to adding past service pension
and the way to pay the cost of adding,
in addition to the services provided by
the Fund through their website.
AADC General Manager Mohamed
Bin Omair Al Shamsi stated that the
awareness-raising workshop for the
company staff is meant to promote the
level of awareness among staff about the
Pension Law and to enlighten them on
their roles and duties towards the Fund.
On his part, H.E. Khalaf Abdullah
RahmaAl Hammadi -ADRPBF Director
General – asserted the importance of
this workshop, which aims at raising
awareness on pension system for a
number of segments in the community,
including the insured and the new
pensioners, and those approaching the
labor market. For, it involved informing
them on their rights and duties towards
theFund, alongwiththemajor services it
provides for them and the way they can
obtain such services. Such workshops
contribute to building strong relations
and promoting communications with
clients, employers and the Fund
partners.
AlHammadialsoaffirmedthatADRPBF
is ready to organize awareness-raising
workshop for all employers registered
in the Fund, who can apply through the
Fund’s website. Then, their application
shall be discussed and the Fund shall
communicate with them and make
necessary arrangements so that
guidance and awareness-raising team
can visit employees and inform them
about Pension Law and Approved
Procedures, along with their rights and
duties.
H.E. Mohamed Bin Omair Al
Shamsi, AADC General Manager,
honored distinguished staff in
Finance Section, who contributed
to the development and success of
work and whose performance was
remarkable.
Al Shamsi said that the purpose of
honoring is to encourage staff and
raise awareness among them on
the importance of distinguished
performance and service providing,
in a way that contributes to the
upgrade of provided services
whether to customers or to the staff.
Al Shamsi congratulated the Finance
Section for its good leadership that
produced distinguished employees
who deserved such honoring,
asserting the necessity of doubling
efforts to upgrade the quality
provided services.
In this sense, employees were
assessed according to criteria
studied
and
approved
in
collaboration with coordinators
from inside the Finance Section
itself, with the award classified into
four categories: The first category
is that of Committed/Disciplined
employee, while Distinguished
employee is the second, the Well-
Mannered employee the third, and
the Distinguished employee in
Administrative Supervision is the
fourth.
