AADC organized a health program
for its staff, in collaboration with the
New Specialized Medical Center, Al
Ain Hospital, and Cromwell Women
and Children Hospital. This event
comes in line with the company’s
policy of participation in societal
activities, promotion of awareness and
circulation of health education among
community individuals. It also springs
from AADC care for the health and
enlightenment of its staff.
Specialized physicians conducted free
medical tests to AADC employees
and auditors in the Main Building
and also in the Power House. So, the
health program involved conducting
some medical tests (to AADC staff
and auditors), including measuring
blood pressure, diabetes test, and
measuring weight and height, besides
measuring the mass of weight and fat
in the body, providing balanced health
programs and offering free medical
consultations.
In the same context, and within
the awareness raising and social
responsibility-fostering
campaigns
adopted by AADC, the company – in
collaboration with Regional Blood
Bank and Tawam Hospital – organized
a blood donation campaign that
aimed at increasing awareness among
AADC staff regarding the importance
of participation in diverse societal
activities and the necessity of caring
for regular health monitoring. For, the
campaign also involved running some
basic medical tests to donors. It is
worth noting that such campaign was
met with considerable turnout among
AADC staff, males and females, from
the different AADC departments and
sections.
