AADC participated in the events of the
‘Police Friends’ summer program for
the children of Dubai Police General
Command affiliates, which are held
in Al Ain Police Officers Club, with
the participation of a number of Al Ain
public and private agencies.
AADC participation focused on the
aspect of education and enlightenment
on diverse important life and daily
issues in relation to energy conservation
against waste, in a way which enforces
the children’s spirit of contribution to
AADC teamwins Ramadan ‘Field’
Challenge’ contest
rationalization of water and electricity
consumption.
Besides, AADC – through its cartoon
characters, Salama, Nour and Qattoura
- distributed water and electricity
rationalization stories among students,
and provided clowns who made
drawings on the children’s faces and
distributed gifts among them.

AinBuSokhnahteamwonthecontest
in its second season organized by Al
Ain General Directorate of Residency
and Foreigners Affairs, with the
participation of teams representing
Al Ain government institutions and
directorates. The contest witnessed
fierce competition among the teams
qualifying for the finals, which
included Al Ain Municipality ‘Al
Wahat’ team and AADC ‘Ain Bu
Sokhna’ team.
In this word, Colonel Khalifa Matar
Balquoba Al Hemyari, Director of
Al Ain Residence and Foreigners
Affairs welcomed the attendants
and praised the response of
companies to the Directorate
initiative of organizing the context
for the second season, including
Al Ain public institutions and
departments. He also noted that
the contest is considered the first-
of-its-kind in the government sector.
Colonel Al Hemyari honored the
first ranking AADC team as well as
the runner-up Al Ain Municipality
team. He also honored managers
and representatives of departments
in the context, knowing that Etihad
Airways was also honored as a
contributor in offering prizes to the
winning team.
