AADC Excellence Award
In my own point of view, excellence has a
special definition, being a way of life that
materializes through one’s conduct, character,
achievement, and dealing with others. It might
be acquired during one’s upbringing or one’s
practices in life. It is the sap of years of effort
and labor carried out in collaboration with a
team attempting to create and innovate that
which is best in terms of the ways and methods
of dedication in work.
Out of our response to the noble directives of
H.E. General Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan,
Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Armed Forces
Deputy Supreme Commander, and Abu Dhabi
Executive Council Chairman, we launched
AADC Excellence Award, which effectively
contributes to thedailydiscoveryof improvement
opportunities in the company and to the making
of appropriate decisions to enhance the level of
labor and performance and increase customers’
satisfaction. The award shall fan the spirit of
competitiveness among the staff of departments
and sections to produce the best within them to
obtain customers’ satisfaction with the services
provided to them.
The award categories include Excellent
Management, and Excellent Projects or Work
Teams and Excellent Individuals, knowing that
its criteria are designed in accordance with the
criteria acknowledged for assessment in Abu
Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government
Performance (ADAEGP), which in turn adopts
international principles and optimum practices
to promote excellence culture in government
agencies.
Indeed, the sustainability of excellence has
become a dire need for AADC within its quest
for pushing the wheel of development towards
a better future in all departments and sections.
Today, we highlight the best practices,
policies and methodologies that would help in
circulating the culture of sustainable excellence,
which empowers employees to encounter
challenges through investment of available
opportunities in boosting transition towards
excellence, development and sustainability in
the fields of quality, health and environment, and
upgrade work, in accordance with successive
technological developments.
