AADC organizes the first
Projects Management Forum
AADC organized the first Projects
Management
Forum
in
the
presence of H.E. Mohamed Salim
Al Zhaheri, AADC Chairman of
Board of Directors, and other
heads departments and sections
in the company. The forum aims at
circulating the concept of projects
management in all the company
departments and at exchanging
knowledge and expertise with other
government
authorities.
The forum, which was held in Al
Ain Rotana Hotel, witnessed the
participation of several public and
private authorities, including Al Ain
Municipality, United Arab Emirates
University, Abu Dhabi Distribution
Company, Al Ain Company for
Sanitary Services, as well as Abu
Dhabi General Services “Musanada.”
Dr. Gary Rowe, founder and
chairman of the U.S.-based ProXalt
Institute conducted a workshop,
wherein he discussed three main
pivots of leadership, projects
management, quality management
and risk management. The first panel
discussion involved some theoretical
disciplines relating to projects
management and the way to invest
these theories and integrate them
with practical experience in AADC.
The second panel addressed the
pivots of identifying work system
in projects management and
preservation of its standards, besides
acquaintingwith themethodsof some
government companies relating to
the art of management. The forum
then concluded its panel discussions
with a cognitive exchange among
experts
representing
diverse
authorities in the state, in the field of
projects management.
It is worth noting that AADCmanaged
to become one of the pioneering
companies in implementation of
projects management (systems)
through application of the science
of academic management, which
depends on international theories
in projects management, with the
purpose of making it play its role in
the community, in a successful and
effective manner. For, the company
runs more than a hundred and fifty
projects in the current year.
