AADC General Manager, Mohamed
Bin Omair Al Shamsi and other
departments managers attended
a specialized training workshop in
the field of institutional quality and
excellence titled, “Strategic Excellence
Leaders,” in Rayhan Rotana Hotel.
The workshop was conducted in
cooperation with one of the state
centers for improvement and training
capacity development.
The workshop aimed to develop the
expertise, upgrade performance of
dailywork,andqualifyanddeveloptheir
practical skills in a way that contributes
to the propulsion of excellence steps
so that they fit the company’s strategic
policies and the development of the
ways and methods of work.
Themanagers alsoacquaintedwith the
concept of institutional excellence and
institutional standards for excellence
so that they would be able to attain
institutional excellence, polish their
capacities in the fields of institutional
planning, and develop excellence
skills of leaders. They also acquainted
with their role in establishing a culture
of excellence among the company
employees, besides instilling in
them skills and notions related to
the dimensions and elements of the
process of administrative excellence.
A workshop for excellence leaders
In cooperation with Ambulatory
Healthcare services (AHS), AADC
organized an awareness-raising
lecture on woman’s health, for
its female employees, in the
Main Building, with the purpose
of spreading health culture and
enlightening women on the
necessity of running regular
check-ups. The company seeks to
disseminate public culture among
female employees, especially in the
health field, which should promote
public health in the community and
enlighten women about prevalent
diseases and how to avoid them.
The lecture involved distribution
of pedometers among female
employees, while the concerned
female physician sought to educate
participants on the right way to
perform breast self-examination,
besides informing them on
endometriosis and on other issue
related to public health.
