AADC 2014 Olympics
AADCorganizedaninternalOlympics
for departments and section,
including several games, like tug of
war, football, basketball, volleyball,
as well as tennis. The Olympics
are aimed to strengthen relations
among employees, promote their
coherence through sports activities,
and improve the spirit of cooperation
and communication among them.
The competitions ended with the
crowning of Electricity Department
as winner of the first position,
earning the cup and the gold
medal in football tournament, while
Customer Service Department won
the second place.
As for tug of war contests, Water
Department came first, seconded
by Electricity Departments, while
Projects Department won first place
in basketball competitions, and
Senior Management and Human
Resources Department won top
position in volleyball tournament.
AADCGeneralManager,Muhammad
Bin Omair Al Shamsi and heads of
departments and sections attended
the closing and medal distribution
ceremony, in which player Tariq Abu
Ghali, from Projects Department,
was honored for winning second
position in the table tennis
contest, player Muhammad Yahya,
from Projects Department, for
winning second position. Besides,
player Muhammad Habra won
first position in free swimming
competition, Ahmad Al Jabri, from
Projects Department, for winning
first position in run race, and Anish,
from Water Department, for winning
second rank. Moreover, the final
match announcer, Muhammad
Al Shamsi, `Abdullah Al Kamali,
from Al Ain Club for the Disabled,
Swimming Pool managers in Al
Tamayyuz School, and referees and
the Olympics organizing committee
were honored.
It should also be noted that
Electricity Department employees
celebrated their victory in the
presence of engineer Fatima Al
Zaheri, department director, and
employees of the department and of
other departments.
