An Awareness Lecture in
Al Taweia Council
Al Ain DistributionCompany organized a lecture on rationalizationof energy consumption during its participation
in the board of His Excellency MohammedAhmedAl MahmoudAl Balushi, in the presence of a group of residents
of the Al Touba region and a number of the Company’s engineers. This lecture aims to encourage the local
community to change consumption habits and promote culture of rationalization, and encourage to comply
with the requirements of internal security and safety in homes to achieve sustainability.
The lecture included an explanation of ways to rationalize energy consumption in homes and provide a safe
environment ideal for the use of electrical tools in an economical way that saves electricity, and to show ways
to prevent the dangers of electricity, as well as ways to rationalize the consumption of water in daily life, such
as bathing, washing and cleaning and use both of them the optimally.
Eng./ Faleh Al Shamsi reviewed the experience of the residents of the region of the energy saving devices and
rationalization boxes were distributed to the public, each box contains devices on which rationalization efficiency
may reach 60 percent without affecting the power of pumping and know how to use, and consumer can be
install them easily at home, along with distribution of a series of educational brochures and leaflets urging the
promotion of rationalization of consumption, explaining the concept of rationalization and optimal methods
of energy use and urging them to change some of their daily behaviors in terms of how to optimize energy use.
The attendees are also recognized the free service provided by Al Ain Distribution Company “Consultations”,
which aims to provide the security and protection guarantees required for electricity and water connections
in homes and public facilities, in order to protect the safety of individuals and activate efforts to rationalize
consumption and educate the public participants of the dangers of random connections and increasing loads.
This lecture comes within a series of consumption rationalization campaigns
for held by the Company for the individuals of the community to
enhance security and safety in addition to awareness of ways to
rationalize the consumption of electricity and water.
