AL Ain Distribution Company , an affiliate company of Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority, organized an innovation exhibition and a workshop titled the corporate excellence concepts, the exhibition is a responding to the events of the Emirates Innovation Week under the slogan “Innovation starts with you” This is one of the biggest innovation initiatives all over the world to promote the country position as a world innovation center that coming in line with the UAE approach to spread the innovation culture and enhance and support the efforts of improving the work mechanisms and governmental services in the UAE. To meet the innovation national strategy that was being launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoom. H.E. Abduallah El Sheryani, Acting Managing Director of the company and the company directors and official staff toured the innovated water and electricity projects (8) by the company engineers.
Dr. Mahmoud El Hader, a winner of the Abu Dhabi Excellence Award for the Innovator employee, lectured the company staff about the corporate excellence concepts and he told the attendees about his experience and the success story that enabled him to win the award. He explained the concepts of corporate innovation in addition to the ways for improvements and the differences among them to encourage the employees for innovation and creation in their work practices and to avoid demoralized innovation factors.
