Hosts Mezyad Municipality in the
Smart House
Al Ain Distribution Company hosted a number of students from Al Badia Primary and Secondary School
in its main building for the Smart Home experience, which aims to raise the awareness of the public
from all brackets of the community of Smart Home facilities and to identify the smart systems and
energy saving devices that help them achieve real savings over the long term, as well as awareness of
the importance of rationalization of consumption and education of the optimal use of energy-saving
devices.
This visit comes within the Company’s keenness to establish a culture of rationalization of water and
electricity consumption to achieve sustainable development, in addition to activating the participation of
all brackets of the community in the efforts that aim to rationalize energy consumption and reduce the
overload on electricity networks. The Company also seeks to raise
awareness of the importance of rationalization of consumption
of water and electricity to protect the environment and sustain
resources for the benefit of future generations.
Al Ain Distribution Company hosted a delegation from the Municipality of Mezyad Municipality Center in its
main building to learn about the ideal experience of rationalization in the smart home facilities. The delegation,
through the smart home model, was introduced a number of technologies, initiatives and smart services that
contribute effectively to the rationalization process where they were able to conduct a dynamic experience
of the smart home, and to walk around the home facilities and see the differences between the use of energy
saving devices and ordinary devices
The Smart Home offers an ideal opportunity for public visitors and those interested to see the model house with
its own basic facilities such as living room, kitchen and water closet
where each corner of the house offers tips on how to consume
water and electricity, reduce usage bills, in addition to being
introduced to the state-of-the-art home environmentally
friendly appliances, products and technologies, and modern
energy saving systems.
Al Ain Distribution also receives visitors continuously from
departments, institutions, public and private schools, in the main
building to recognize the smart home facilities and to be acquainted
with the state-of-the-art environmentally friendly as well as
energy saving technology solutions that will contribute to sustainable
development.
