  • Dirty filters restrict air flow and can cause the system to run longer, increasing energy use.
  • Close curtains to prevent heat from the sun entering the house.
  • Make sure that all air conditioning switched off in unused locations.
  • Set your thermostats to 24C, this prolong its working life.
  • Don’t install window A/C in skylights and narrow places to insure good ventilation and no consumption increase.
  • Stop outdoor air from coming into the building through doors and windows.
  • It is advisable to have a separate operation switch in each room in order not to lose energy.
  • When buying A/Cs, ask specialists to assist you in buying the proper A/C.
  • Use insulators in building materials and in double gazed windows, this will reduce the external heat from coming into the building.
