Dirty filters restrict air flow and can cause the system to run longer, increasing energy use.
Close curtains to prevent heat from the sun entering the house.
Make sure that all air conditioning switched off in unused locations.
Set your thermostats to 24C, this prolong its working life.
Don’t install window A/C in skylights and narrow places to insure good ventilation and no consumption increase.
Stop outdoor air from coming into the building through doors and windows.
It is advisable to have a separate operation switch in each room in order not to lose energy.
When buying A/Cs, ask specialists to assist you in buying the proper A/C.
Use insulators in building materials and in double gazed windows, this will reduce the external heat from coming into the building.
