Electricity I pledge to turn off and unplug appliances that I don't often use before I go to sleep or going out of home
I pledge to replace my Energy Star compact fluorescent light bulbs for it uses 75% less energy than standard light bulbs
I pledge to take advantage of natural lighting during the day instead of using electric lighting by opening curtains and
let the natural sunlight to enter the house to reduce energy consumption
I pledge to carryout maintenance of my air-conditioners at least once a year to reduce consumption and promote efficiency
I pledge to disconnect the power supply from the TV or video or any other appliances that deplete power even when switched off

Water I pledge to turn off the water tap while brushing my teeth
I pledge to fix water -flow reducer kits (such as aerators) for the taps
I pledge to fix leaking pipes and taps promptly
I pledge to take quick showers instead of baths
I pledge to reduce my clothes dryer machine and take advantage of open air / sunlight for drying the clothes
