SECO DelegationVisits AADC
His Excellency Mohammad bin
Omair Al-Shamsi, AADC general
manager stressed importance of such
visits, and their role in enhancing
mutual cooperation between water
and electricity companies in GCC
counties, to exchange information
and experiences in relation to water &
electricity fields.
In a brief presentation, the latest
and modern systems, services and
technologiesused inAADCbusinesswere
displayed, such as the new SPL billing
system, applications stages, connection
to other distribution systems, such as
notification, maintenance, GIS systems,
in addition to the Maximo system
used for materials supply, and approval
provision to contractors to commence
work.
Delegation visited Power Distribution
Building, to explore modern systems
implemented by AADC in electricity
services and connection, in addition
to notification receipt and follow up.
Company engineers offered details
presentation to different departments
duties and responsibilities, utilization
of modern systems in collecting meters
reading, routes followed thereby,
analysis and distribution, in addition
to meters maintenance and scheduling
programs.
At visit end, Mr. Ibrahim Al Zahrani
praised services provided by AADC,
and developed systems implemented
thereby, stressing on the importance
of exchanging such visits, to exchange
experiences in electricity field, to
guarantee provision of better services
to customers, and develop business
methodologies. Visiting delegation was
honored by a group of AADC trophies.
AADC received a delegation from Saudi Electricity Company (SECO), included a number of departments
managers, and divisions heads, chaired by Mr. Ibrahim Al-Zahrani Distribution Systems Development
Department Manager. Delegation was welcomed by Mr. Abdullah Al-Shiryani Acting Customer Service
Manager, Ali Balhadar Al-Zaheri, Communication Center Manager, in addition to a number of managers and
engineers. Visit lasted for three successive days, to exchange experiences and to explore modern systems
.used by AADC
Exhibition was attended by 19 different
public departments, and industrial
establishments, to show work systems,
in addition to future jobs available to
this class of students.

stressed that “AADC is keen to support
this kind of initiatives, to promote and
increase awareness among students
to offered jobs in labor market, and
to assist in safe planning of individual
careers, and guide them toward
available vocational and occupational
jobs needed by labor market currently
and in the future, in all engineering and
technology fields.
Bin Omair stated that correct and
early guidance will assist students to
take correct decision regarding their
educational and vocational future,
and fulfill state need to different
specializations.
Within its participation, AADC offered
different technical specializations
required by company such as electric &
mechanical engineering, in contribution
of HR staff, who received students and
replied to their inquiries, and offered
guidance manuals including details of
different specializations required by
labor market.

Al-Ain Secondary School,
of Abu Dhabi Vocational
Education
&
Training
Institute, to join efforts to
integrate public companies
and students interests.
