Al Ain Distribution Company celebrated the 48th UAE National Day for many days and included different remarkable activities and games with attendees’ participation. AADC’s national participations and celebrations expressed its concern and care to be part of the country happiness and promote the national spirit and society values among people, as well as to encourage the society partnership and to build communication with people.
On the occasion, AADC acting managing director, Abdulla Ali Al Sheryani stated that we, through our celebration, extends our warm congratulation to the wise leadership, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan- May Gad Safe Him-, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Seven Emirates, and the Crown Princes, May Allah the Almighty keep our beloved country safe and bring joy and happiness to it’.
In addition, Al Sheryani said on the 2nd of December of every year, we celebrate the United Arab Emirates National Day, the day where an Emirate National Journey began with full of achievements and successes that put our country on the top rank of the most advanced and valuable nations, assuring the UAE pioneer role on different levels; Locally, Regionally and Globally. Also, this day is an occasion to renew our commitment to pursue the way and path of Our late founding Father, Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan- May Allah Blessed Him-, to stand around this flag, the symbol of pride and glory, in order to continue the journey of progress, welfare and prosperity. We pray to Allah to save our beloved homeland and we hope that our country, leaders and people celebrating this anniversary every year with more progress, welfare and charity to keep our nation the happiest nation ever.
In this blessed occasion, a huge ceremony was held at AADC’s main building at the administrative central, attended by the company’s directors, managers, heads of sections and employees. There were many activities that made the celebration remarkable and successful such as cultural, traditional and art events in participation of the employees, as well as the participation of the cultural carnival that presented various performances from Syria, India and Africa. Also, a number of heritage performances were presented like Al Ulah and the traditional tents that contained wide range of UAE traditional food, in addition to a folklore souq.
In celebrating 48th national day, ADDC decorated its building with the colors of UAE flag and an image of the president Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan-May Allah Safe Him-, with non-traditional Eye-catching way and its worth to be noted that it’s an energy-efficiency.
As an external participation in the national day celebrations, AADC participated through a private stand at the celebrations of Al Ain Hospital with many government and private bodies and the celebrations of Shaikha Bint Suroor School. The nature of this participation is to introduce our company to the visitors, promote its society participation through the national ceremonies and mark its positive role in serving the community beside the basic role of providing water and electricity to Al Ain city and its Region. As part of the participation, the specialized employees introduced some ways of reducing electricity consumption in houses and providing safe and perfect environment for using electrical appliances in economic way, in addition to introduce some preventive ways to avoid electrical risks and to the wise consumption of water in shower, cleaning and washing. Finally, School students were educated on saving energy and keeping safety and security through the awareness booklets and leaflets, also they received national day gifts.
