Al Ain Distribution Company organized various events to celebrate “Emirati Women’s Day”, that falls on August 28th of each year, with the aim of highlighting the contributions of Emirati women in the UAE and to support all kinds of initiatives that promote women's contributions in the development of the nation. The held event include; an exhibition for emirates traditional crafts and a competition on floral arrangement in addition to many other activities.
Mr. Abdulla Al Sheryani, AADC acting managing director, stated that this is an exceptional day to recognize and value women’s contributions and achievements in shaping the society, as she draw her significant milestone thankfully to the ultimate support of our wise leadership who always believes in the great potential women possess. Also, He pointed that she proved her ability to take multi-tasks beside her key role in raising generations, which lead her to be with the man in leading positions. Furthermore, he reaffirmed on AADC concern to support woman by providing a positive and inspired work environment that maintain balance between social life and career life of women, as well as boost her self-confidence to use her educational and practical potentials in achieving success and excellence and to participate in country building and development and formation of the future generations.
