In alignment with “Covenant for Million Tolerant” that launched by Zayed House for Islamic Culture in April 2019 in conjunction with the UAE events for the ‘Year of Tolerance’, Al Ain Distribution Company organized an event titled “Share us in being tolerant”. Furthermore, AADC acting managing director, Abdulla Al Sheryani said that the nature of our participation in this covenant is to support tolerance in our society as an Islamic value that results to ensure a mutual community with stability, improvement, progress and welfare that built on tolerance and respecting each other. Also, AADC always participates with government and semi-government entities in this kind of society initiatives to reach comprehension in relations and to strengthen partnership and to reflect the belief of cooperation importance in accomplishment of strategic objectives of both parties.
In addition, Dr. Nedal al Tinaiji, the General Director of ZHIC said the covenant stated that ‘every individual should be tolerant with one-self and the surrounding society; because, in tolerance there is life’. She added that the first phase of the covenant aims to communicate and collaborate with different government and private entities with media outlets in supporting the said covenant and encourage different society segments (staff, customers and partners) to sign through visiting Al Dar Team and Emirates Red Crescent Volunteers.
