AADC supports conservation initiatives

Majalis Affairs Office at Abu Dhabi Crown Court holds a lecture titled " Together to preserve our natural resources at H.E Al Muataredh Bin Saif Al Afari’s Majlis, in coordination with AADC and attendance of a group of AADC engineers and a group of Al Yahar area. The lecture aims to define rationalization, present some steps and advices to protect natural resources and environment and to urge to a strict compliance with safety and security requirements in houses to achieve sustainability.

From his side, Al Afari welcomed AADC group AADC executive operation director, Eng. Bader Al Thehli, Water O&M Director Eng. Salem Saif Al Afari, O&M Dept Manager, Eng. Mutahar Ali Abdullah, and Head of Inspection & Monitoring Unit, Eng. Mesfer Al Aryan” as well as consultation team and the visitors. He affirmed that meeting is a lead on the strong relationship between government entities and community.

Moreover, Eng. Al Thehli stated that AADC sets a clear strategy aiming at promote social responsibility in protecting natural resources and environment to reach the sustainability in alignment with wise leadership directives. In addition, he added that AADC saves no time or efforts in arranging awareness lectures and supporting the events to attract different consumers’ categories and involved them in our journey to ensure best future for next generations.

In addition, Al Thehli stressed that in despite to the huge savings of water and electricity, our main noble goal is to embed wise consumption concept among different society segments in order to make it a community culture and a daily habit. He said that we believe in customers’ role in reducing consumption to save our valuable nature and to support the sustainable development in Emirates of Abu Dhabi. 

And, in supporting conservation campaigns, AADC launched programs and initiatives in regards to give an effective and complete understanding of social responsibility. These events and campaigns showed people readiness to support the national and international efforts that will control climate change and global warming by changing their daily habits and adopting positive behaviors in work and home.

In line with raising people awareness toward conservation, customer services department provides free consultations and book appointment through toll free 8009008. The appointment means a civil visit by engineers to the consumers’ place to help in assessing their consumption rates and guide them to enhance consumption efficiency and save their money.

In the conclusion, this lecture is one of AADC’s conservation campaigns chain provided to the community to promote security and safety and to guide audiences toward wise consumption. At end of the lecture, our AADC engineers display some conservation tools that contribute in saving water and electricity, as well as distribution of some brochures and booklets to promote wise consumption, define conservation and present best uses of energy by changing their daily consumption behaviors.
