Abu Dhabi Distribution Company and Al Ain Distribution Company signed a cooperation agreement with Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council to launch a program to train refrigeration technicians and plumbers, during Abu Dhabi Sustainable Week 2019, in order to manage the incorrect installation and maintenance doing for buildings in Abu Dhabi Emirates.
This major step comes in compliance with Executive Council Resolution no (27 D 31/2015) regarding the opportunities to enhance energy consumption efficiency in public sector as well as its resolution on 5th March 2017 regarding the implementation of the manual of water and electricity wise consumption for government entities and its facilities in Abu Dhabi. In addition, the agreement reflects the companies’ seeking to educate the different society segments by designing programs about water and electricity wise conversation.
Furthermore, the program target is to prepare, improve and issue conformity certificates for individuals and companies working in the field and to manage the incorrect installations and maintenance doing for buildings in Abu Dhabi Emirates, as well as to implement water and electricity wise consumption manual “my efficiency initiative”.
