AADC, an affiliate of Department of Energy, celebrated “Flag Day” which takes place on November 3rd every year, in line with the call of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to raise UAE flag to celebrate the anniversary of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan taking office and to express the meaning of loyalty and belongings and the wise leadership commitment to union values.
H.E Abdulla Al Sheriani -AADC acting Managing Director, alongside with number of AADC managers and employees started the celebration by raising the flag at 11 am. The flag fly high with playing the national anthem along with employee’s singings in love and flags on their hands to show their dignity.
In this occasion, Al Sheriani expressed his congratulation to the country leadership and people. He also called the employees to maintain the national achievements for more accomplishments and to maintain UAE Flay flying high Furthermore, he pointed that this kind of celebration is a national duty that reflects the pride of Emirates Identity.
In addition, he added that we are always loyal to the UAE flag which reflects our pride and glory to the country that gains it’s distinguish place among the modern nations. Also, he reaffirmed that celebrating the Flag Day is to embed the value of union and national identity and our flag will continue to stand tall as the pride and greatness of UAE nation.
